01

Decide whether twelve months fits the Australian household

Before comparing annual figures, identify the main television, the app that supports it in Australia and the programmes that justify another subscription. A household already using ABC iview, SBS On Demand or other broadcaster services should identify what the proposed paid account adds. Paying for a year does not make an unconfirmed catalogue more certain.

Use a requirements note with four fields: essential viewing, simultaneous sessions, supported devices and the amount you are prepared to commit upfront. If a field is unresolved, a divided monthly equivalent cannot resolve it.

02

Understand the reference currency

The twelve-month totals are €49.99, €79.99, €99.99 and €119.99 for one to four simultaneous streams. These are euro amounts, not Australian dollars.

HexaTV prices and payments are in euros. Compare the complete payable total for the selected duration and screen allowance. Your bank may apply conversion or fees. Do not compare an AUD competitor total with a EUR price by reading the numbers alone.

03

Evaluate a normal Australian viewing week

Include the main TV on its usual NBN or other broadband connection, a second screen if needed and the times when the household watches. A test beside the router during the day does not represent a television across the house during a busy evening.

Keep live sport separate from routine viewing. For a particular fixture, check the competition's current Australian viewing information and the exact offer. A functioning demonstration on another source is useful technical evidence but does not verify that event's inclusion.

04

Ask about changes before the long commitment

Write down what happens when a streaming device is replaced, the household moves or another concurrent session is needed. Ask whether the account can transfer, what support covers and whether any extra fee applies. Preserve the response with the proposed annual terms.

Support hours should identify a timezone. An international service's evening may not align with the Australian household's evening. Do not infer a response time or local staffing from a generic support badge.

05

Compare the actual first-year outlay

A separate player licence and any new streaming device belong in the first-year comparison. Keep them on separate lines because they may not recur with the content subscription. NBN or mobile-broadband changes also need their own justification; an annual content plan does not improve home Wi-Fi.

For each alternative term, calculate total committed money over the period you actually expect to use it. Label any hypothetical renewal price as unknown instead of assuming today's reference is guaranteed.

06

Use a renewal decision rather than automatic habit

A month before the documented expiry, review what the household used and what changed. Check the current essential catalogue, the app's device support and the proposed renewal total. Do not rely on a screenshot from the original purchase as evidence of the current offer.

Select the annual duration and required screen allowance on this website, then review the full EUR total before payment. Access follows payment verification.

07

Use a change scenario to assess the commitment

Consider a household that expects to replace its main TV during the year. The relevant question is not whether the old screen works today, but whether the account can move to a supported replacement and what happens to the player licence.

Ask for the actual transfer process and any charge. Record which party supplies the software and which supplies the content term. If access depends on a code stored only on the old device, identify the supported recovery route before that device disappears.

This scenario is a planning check, not a claim that transfers are free. A clear answer can be part of the annual value comparison alongside the headline subscription total.

08

Compare evidence using the same Australian requirement set

Create one row for each essential programme, required app, concurrent session and support need. For every candidate offer, record its dated answer and whether anything was observed in a limited test. Keep unanswered rows visible.

If one plan needs different hardware, add that cost and verify the other broadcaster apps the household uses. A cheaper content total can be misleading when it requires an unsuitable replacement device.

Do not compress the result into a fabricated score. The purpose is a decision record that another household member can understand, including what remains uncertain and which conditions affected the choice.

09

Read the next payment as a separate decision

Ask whether the term ends without another payment, renews through an agreed mechanism or requires a new order. The length of twelve months does not answer that question. Keep the actual confirmation with the order reference.

At renewal, use current device support, catalogue and the new total in euros. Today's price is not a promise about next year's price, exchange rate or bank fees.

A review of actual use can reveal that a smaller allowance or shorter commitment now fits better. Choose from the next period's needs rather than the effort already spent setting up the previous account.

10

Keep payment and delivery evidence separate

Payment verification comes before private account delivery. Preserve the non-secret order reference and status while keeping codes and passwords private.

Selecting an annual plan does not itself complete payment or activate access. Keep the order reference and check the verified payment and delivery status.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before you choose.

Is a year always better value?+

No. A lower arithmetic monthly cost can accompany greater upfront commitment. Value depends on the features you use, the full cost and how much uncertainty remains.

Does the annual price include four screens?+

Each screen allowance has its own price. €49.99 covers twelve months with one simultaneous stream; four simultaneous streams cost €119.99 for twelve months.

Can I activate an annual plan here?+

You can select an annual plan on this website. Check the screen allowance and full EUR total before payment. Access follows payment verification.

What if the household changes devices during the year?+

Ask about the provider account's transfer process and the separate player licence before committing. Keep a private recovery method and the actual device-support answer. A twelve-month term does not itself promise unlimited installations, free replacement licences or use in another household.

Can I compare a foreign-currency annual offer by its number alone?+

No. Record the actual billing currency and complete charge, keeping any unquoted conversion or payment cost unknown. A EUR reference and an AUD advertisement are not numerically interchangeable. HexaTV charges in euros and does not supply an AUD conversion estimate. Your bank may apply conversion or fees.
